How do you know if the relationship that you are in is Lust or Love?

Frankly, if you want it, it is actually very easy for two persons to start a relationship. But when things start faster than usual, one may sit back and wonder if this relationship is all about Lust or Love. So how do you know if yours is Lust of Love?

Lust

It started off with connection. Both party look into each other’s eyes, both were attracted to each other physically. then it all started off with Sex. Good sex. Suddenly, you feel that you are in la la land. Everything seems so perfect no matter what he/she does. The best thing is, sometimes you feel so happy, to see him/her, so overwhelmed with happiness that you just wanna hold him/her tight. Sometimes you just wanna get off with it. Sometimes, dinner with him/her seems so long, so unbearable. The feelings that you have is going up and down. Like the stock market. And it dies off in 1-2 weeks time. Maybe even sooner. Sometimes, maybe because you were so cammoflaudge with what you want to see from the other person, it lasted for 1 month or more (but usually for guys, it will not last for more than 2 weeks. Eventually, the guys will be bored, for relationships does not rely on sex only. But for girls… it is all about emotions..) Then, suddenly, you realized he/she is not the one for you. The feelings just died off. And the hardest part came in where you had to break the news to her that she is not the one you were looking for.

Love.

It all started off with what you like to see in that person. His/her small gestures, his/her features, the captivating smile, the way the hair stands or combed. The first impression was judged carefully. Then, it was the common interest that both of you shared, how well both of you communicate with each other, how beautifully you both click with each other. Both of you talk for hours. It didnt occur to you that you want to get laid with this person. You just want to know more about him/her. You just knew that, he/she has arrived. The moment is more magical. And both of you look forward to grow together, to build a future together. Both of you compromises for each other’s flaws. Life is suddenly a reality. Something to achieve together.

People say, love is blind. It may be true to certain extend. But love is the only source that drives two person to stay together and have faith in each other. Love is the one that drives a person to care for another. Without love, we have no hatred either.
